15-minute city: the environment, not the apartment

Have you ever imagined that you can get to your place of work from your own home in 15 minutes, without traffic jams, by bike or on foot. It's hard to
imagine, but… In 2016, Carlos Moreno, a scientist and professor at the Sorbonne University, presented the concept of a "15-minute city" to the world.

This is an urban structure in which people have the opportunity to provide for their daily activities at a distance that can be reached a
maximum of 15 minutes on foot or by bike. a brighter and more sustainable urban environment that promotes a decent and high-quality life for residents:
In this concept, the "citizen" will be able to effectively use the six main urban functionsÕ¯ to live, work, trade, enjoy health care and his right to education,
and finally, relax and have fun. Cities such as Paris, Barcelona, New York have already implemented the "15-minute city". implementation of the concept.
The development plans of these cities are aimed at various sub-sectors of urban transport, to implement such changes in urban structure, management
and operation that will facilitate the "urban jungle resident-urban citizen" to feel comfortable in their vital environment:

The main advantages of this concept are:
1. Time saving-allows you to save time and spend it on more important things family, relatives, education or recreation.
2. Eco-friendly environment - this concept implies as few cars as possible an operation that involves reducing carbon emissions.
3. Improving mental and physical health - operating as few cars as possible contributes to a shortage the number of traffic jams,
reduction of unwanted noise, reduction of air pollution, due to which solutions will prevent stress and other similar problems to
some extent., as well as walking and cycling
they improve overall health.
